Amplifying Competence
A transformative online certification course for occupational therapists supporting non-speaking autistic individuals
CERTIFICATION COURSE
Amplifying Competence isn’t your typical Autism training.
It’s a mindset shift—a journey toward showing up differently. This course invites you to see your role with fresh eyes and equips you with the tools, strategies, and insight to create meaningful, lasting change—for your clients, for yourself, and for the profession we love.
If you’ve felt stuck in the day-to-day, knowing there’s more for the non-speaking autistic individuals you serve, this course is for you. Inside this course, you’ll break through the barriers that have been holding you back. You’ll learn to lead with confidence, support with compassion, and anchor your work in a mindset that sees possibilities—not limitations, regardless of the setting you’re in.
Because the autistic community doesn’t need more quick fixes or surface-level solutions.
They need OTs who are ready to support differently. To listen deeper. To lead with lived experience. To presume competence and meet real needs, in real ways.
This is more than professional development.
It’s a reclamation of purpose—and of our power in a system that’s too often outdated, overwhelming, or misaligned with what we know is possible. It’s about building a community of changemakers who uplift, inspire, and rise together. A reminder that how we show up matters—not just for them, but for us, too.
This is your opportunity to break through the doubt, discover new tools,
and embrace a mindset of resilience and growth.
Be the Change: Join the Course That’s Redefining Support for Autism
Whether you're an OT, SLP, PT, BCBA, MT —or any therapist dedicated to serving the apraxic autistic community—this course is your invitation to rethink what support really means.
As an occupational therapist, you’ve likely felt the tension between what you were taught and what your clients actually need—especially when working with non-speaking autistic individuals.
It’s not just about checking a box for professional development hours or adding new strategies to your toolkit—it’s about shifting the way you see your role, your clients, and the systems around you. Because the truth is: supporting differently starts with showing up differently. With compassion. With the willingness to unlearn what no longer fits and lean into what truly creates connection and progress.
when we shift how we show up for others, we often discover a deeper version of ourselves—our beliefs, our boundaries, our ability to lead with presence and purpose. This journey doesn’t just transform your sessions... it transforms your practice and your passion for the work.
And that impact doesn’t end with you. When we show up differently, we create ripple effects—through our work, our communities, and the future of the profession itself.

ANY OF THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
01. You Feel Disconnected & Disempowered
You care deeply about the people you serve, but lately, it feels like you're falling short. The typical cookie-cutter goals written for autistic or neurodivergent individuals aren’t cutting it. It’s disheartening, and it’s wearing you down.
02. Work Is Spilling Into Your Personal Life
Work frustrations are bleeding into life outside the job. You’re drained, unmotivated, and struggling to care for your own physical and mental health. What once lit you up—your degree, your training, your purpose—now feels more like a weight than a spark.
03. You’re Questioning Your Career Path
You’ve had doubts—about your setting, your clients, even your calling as an OT. You’ve hopped from job to job, hoping something would change. But what if the problem isn’t the work itself—it’s the system? And what if the answer isn’t walking away, but rediscovering your purpose and reimagining what occupational therapy can be—for you and for those you serve?
Imagine…a new way to support apraxic autistic individuals—one that builds connection, cultivates confidence, and nurtures your growth, too.
This course isn’t about adding more to your to-do list.
It’s about shifting how you show up—and how you feel about yourself, too.
Here’s what that can look like in your practice:
01
Having Connected Relationships
Your work is filled with successful sessions with autistic clients (regulated bodies, shared enjoyment and smiles, clear intentional connection of neural pathways, and sensory integration), filling your cup in the process. You feel connected and fulfilled by your work, leaving work at the end of the day feeling like you made an impact on those you serve.
02
Feeling Confident & Competent
Because your work makes you feel connected and fulfilled, you leave work at the end of the day feeling like you made an impact on those you serve. You consistently implement what you’ve learned, building positive momentum and daily reminders of how capable both yourself and those you serve truly are.
03
Showing Up As Your Best Self
You wake up excited to invest in yourself to be healthy mentally and physically to then show up at work in the same ways. You go into sessions feeling equipped with ideas and applicable ways to support the autistic community. You feel eager to pursue your professional career and make a life-changing impact.
It’s possible, and it’s within reach.

Why This Program Is Different
No more settling for the status quo—I’m here to challenge the norm and pioneer a new approach to OT care. I’ve been through countless CEU courses where I feel the tools I learned don’t truly support this specific community. I honestly, don’t give a sh*t about if this course is “approved” to meet standardized norms of what a course should be or how we were taught in school. I’ve learned how standardized anything puts us in a box that we don’t fit in. I’m not here for any of that, and I will keep it real, share firsthand experiences, and the voices of those who live this experience. “Nothing about them, without them."

Through my own journey, I’ve read/listened to so many self-development books/podcasts, put in the work of therapy, sat with myself and called myself out on bullshit excuses and limiting thought patterns. I’ve done the work and continue to do it every.single.day. I am in no way perfect or have I “reached” my full potential. As OTs, we know that we can be forever learning and growing. What we forget is that we need to do that personally as well, in order to show up as our best selves in our work as OTs, and any other occupational roles you may have in life (parent, friend, spouse, fur-parent, plant-parent, haha whatever it is!). I know that courses can be taken and never truly implemented and I want you to really reap all the benefits of understanding the clinical pieces by TAKING ACTION and implementing them confidently! This isn’t just another course to get your CEUs and move on. I’m in this for you and with you.

You get 6 months of mentorship time from the date of enrollment or date of access, whichever comes later. At the end of the 6 months, you have the option to continue mentorship for another 6 months, join as a drop-in mentee, or level up by working 1:1 with Erin for mentorship.

If you haven’t caught the gist yet that I like to challenge the “standardized” norms and expectations, here’s me telling you straight up… I don’t look for stamps of approval from governing boards just to hook a sale. I’m here to share what I know to be beneficial and have SEEN FIRSTHAND over and over and over, effectively support non-speaking autistic individuals. I’ve gotten feedback from those I serve that these strategies are one of the few supports that feel meaningful and supportive.
SO, with that said, we are not accredited with any governing body. I highly recommend you reading into the fine lines of what actually qualifies as CEU’s for your state. Majority of the states allow any course that has some sort of assessment component at the end - and we do (see below link)*.
After completing our course and assessment, you will receive your Amplifying Competence Certificate with total number of contact hours (self-paced learning & mentorship time) which can be kept for record keeping when renewing your CEUs.
* Check out this PDF from NBCOT and scroll to #19 & #20 for more details.
** Also, click here for California's Board of OT website explaining that a course does not need to be approved specifically by anyone in order to count towards credits.
Of course read into the details of the specific state you’re in, but I can almost promise you, you likely don’t need any stamp of approval for it to count - learning is learning, why should any 1 governing body be able to define what that is? You’re a well rounded clinician, trust your gut on what resonates with you and what you implement in your practice to make positive impact on the community you serve.

Yes, let me start by saying I’ve poured my heart and passion into this project, and will continue to do so to make a positive impact. I know the positive changes that can happen as I’ve seen through my own journey and the OTs I’ve already mentored and empowered. With that said, I offer a satisfaction guarantee. If at any time in the first 3 modules, you feel that we are not in alignment and you’ve put in the required work up until module 3, we will please reach out to us via email and we can discuss options.
