Meet the SUNRISE Therapies Team
Erin Clarelli, MS, OTR/L
CEO, founder, & Occupational Therapist
Hi! It’s so nice to have you here. To start, I want to share my immense passion for treating all individuals with respect, dignity, and kindness. What that means for my work is learning from those who experience the need for the supports I provide through listening, reflecting on my thoughts and beliefs, and integrating feedback every single day.
I’ve been an occupational therapist for 9 years now and have spent time with neurodivergent individuals since I was 18, teaching inclusive gymnastics at a family owned sport facility. I learned a lot about leadership, listening to parents, and the importance of a “CEO” being highly involved in what’s happening in a company. I will never lose sight of that.
I’ve also dug in, and continue to dig in to learning about sensory processing and our neurological make up as humans. How our heart, brain, and body are all interconnected and when this connection is challenged, how we can work on reconnecting and integrating the 3.
Within my sessions and time with families, I focus on the art of BEING. Being fully who I am, and supporting you and your family in being fully who you are and how to be better than the you yesterday. I believe in community, accountability, and overall personal excellence and well being.

Sarah LaCroix, MOTR/L
Occupational Therapist
I’ve lived throughout San Diego for 10 years and recently put down roots in Oceanside with my husband, Norman (cat), and Annie (dog). I fell in love with occupational therapy while volunteering at a local clinic during my last semester of college. I got to experience the joys and challenges of being an OT from the sidelines and knew this was what I needed to be. This profession requires a diverse skill set and is forever evolving. Still, it inspires me to grow as a therapist to show up for you, my community, and as an individual. OT is truly a marriage between creativity and science.
Personal hobbies: I’m love with all things crafty and am always stalking Pinterest for my next project. I enjoy baking, cooking weird recipes, using power tools for DIY projects, and snuggling with my pets.
OT passions & expertise areas to support you in: sensory integration, co-regulation and self regulation strategies, adult and pediatric mental health, play-based therapy, social-emotional skills, gross motor development, two years and beyond!
Main geographic service areas: Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas, San Marco, Vista, San Elijo Hills, Escondido, Fallbrook

Ashley Lauran
Very Amazing Virtual Assistant
Hi, I'm Ashley! I am a wife + mom of humans & fur babies + entrepreneur + Defender (16-Personalties) + ambitious introvert who loves the gym, ice cream and llamas. I love being outdoors - whether that means hiking, biking, or just hanging out in my backyard with my family. I'm married to an amazing man, and we live in the country on a little piece of land that we love. I was born and raised in the Southern Indiana country on a working farm. We have two beautiful daughters who are the loves of our lives. We also have two dogs that are our best friends but keep us on our toes (& I am just slightly obsessed with them!). I am also a fitness enthusiast and love all things health & nutrition. I started my business from a desire to be my own boss, spend more time with my oh so quickly growing kiddos and a desire to help female business owners in need! I have worked in the health and wellness industry for over 15 years and am passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. When I’m not working on my business, you can find me at the gym or out for a run. Being an introvert by nature, spending time outside or at the gym is how I recharge!
